Join me for a week of wonderfully vibrant Marrakech where we will paint the streets, gardens and life of this ancient and brightly colored city.

We will explore the markets and gardens, enjoy local cuisine, have time for sight seeing, to take a hammam and of course shopping in the markets. We will attend traditional musical concerts, enjoy the riad life and explore several local restaurants.

We will also take a day trip to the Atlas mountains where we will visit a traditional Berber village to learn about their history and culture. We will take the day to paint the village and have lunch on a rooftop terrace with the mountains in the distance.

Each day will focus on a new technique in watercolor from values to creating compelling compositions to how to create distance and atmospheric perspective as well as capturing the quickly moving light and shadows.

This course is for all levels of watercolor painters and non painting friends and partners are welcome to join us on this adventure.

The rich history and culture of Morocco make this an exciting adventure and one that will last forever through your documentation of our week together through watercolor.
