Last Light In The Studio

This painting was done over the course of a year capturing the warm late afternoon light coming into my studio.

Though it’s a scene I see every day, this silent moment is one I’ve always enjoyed at the end of a day spent working.

The light catching the red lamp with the blues of the landscape outside the window are the real centerpiece of the painting for me.
