Day 38: Canvas Pliers

Day 38: Canvas Pliers

It may seem silly to paint these, but in thinking about it there is nothing silly about them. I mean, I went through so many bad pairs of these canvas pliers, that I found it easier to stretch canvas with my hands at a certain point. But then I found these! I worship them, they really do make my life easier, even if I have taken to painting on tiny 6×8″ boards instead of canvas these last 38 days.. There is something fun and engaging about painting these singular objects. Today of course was another rainy day in Florence, but ended up gloriously beautiful by late afternoon. Spring is already here, it’s warm, warm, warm, so in the meantime here is my ode to objects! To buy this pianting for $100 + shipping click here https://kellymedford.com/works/413945To see or buy other paintings from the 100 day project click here https://kellymedford.com/collections/25604All paintings measure 6×8″, are painted on birch and unframed. You can share this with someone by sending them to the blog http://www.kellymedford.blogspot.com/ or they can subscribe to receive the daily newsletter here https://kellymedford.com/email-newsletterThanks for sharing and talk to you tomorrow..
