Day 69: At Jory’s
I almost can’t believe that it’s day 69 and that I’m actually this far along in the project, the days are just flying by. To tell the truth I don’t think I’ve been challenging myself too much these last few days, but rather have been coasting. Don’t get me wrong, I’m stil in the project and doing the project, but I haven’t been looking for ways to challenge myself or improve my painting these last few days, I’ve just been doing what I already know how to do. Maybe it’s time to get back in the game and out of my comfort zone!Today’s painting is an interior done at my friend’s studio/home. You maybe get a sense from the paiting that there are 2-story windows covering one wall, it’s fantastic. There are several of these studios in this block in Florence and entering each one is entering a different world particular to the person whose studio it is. If I keep working hard I’ll get the chance to have my own studio on this block, designed just how I would like. Now that would be amazing! In the meantime being a visitor and getting the chance to paint these little glimpses is pretty cool too.To buy today’s painting for $100, click here.
