In the Mood

I’m counting warm rain as the first official sign.This was literally painted in the rain and had to be abandoned when the paint became too sticky to mix due to the amount of raindrops in it. I would like to think that it captures the mood of the moment even if it is not a highly rendered finished painting. After having rode my bike all the way out here, daring the looming clouds to drop their rain, I wasn’t about to ride all the way back home defeated and without a painting. Even if I only got out this tiny sketch, I still felt triumphant (and somewhat productive) over the rain.
