A Painting a Day for September: Day 1
In sheer excitement for my new elegantly designed website, I am launching a project to paint a painting a day for the month of September.
In announcing this last week, some other painters liked the idea and wanted to join in the fun, so together we’re having a daily painting party.
So much more fun and inspiring!

Painted yesterday, September 1st, this was a true warm-up since I have taken weeks off from painting to travel and finish up the website.
Over the next month I intend to get back to painting the streets of Rome daily and am also wanting to explore what is next for me and how I can keep on improving my skills.
Having other painters share their work will ideally spark a dialogue and inspire new ideas and approaches. So for any other painters or creatives interested in joining us in the painting a day challenge, you can upload your photos to our September Painting a Day group on flickr.
