June 22-29, 2016 Painting the Italian Landscape in Oils
*just 2 spots remaining*
Join us in a gorgeous villa in the secluded rolling hills of Umbria for a week of painting in oils. All levels are welcome and all materials provided. The meals are home made and we share them together out on the huge terrace overlooking the nearby hills.
Non-painting partners and friends are welcome, there is a swimming pool and walking trails.
This course is suitable for all levels of oil painters. Each day we will work in the morning with a leisurely break for lunch and return to painting in the afternoon. We will also have the chance to visit nearby villages, go on a wine tour and tasting and visit an ancient Franciscan monastery.
Each painting day will be a different focus from values to edges, creating atmospheric perspective, wroking on color and composition.
