Romantic Spots
The Lake at Villa Borghese Park in Rome must be one of the most frequented and prettiest scenes in the heart of the city. Locally it’s called Il Laghetto or the little lake.

This is one of Rome’s more well-known sites and where you can rent small paddle or row boats to have a turn or two around the lake. On the far side is a temple to Asclepius built in the mid-18th century.
Today the light was clear as a bell and it was the perfect opportunity to paint some water and reflections, which I rarely have the chance to do. I wasn’t quick enough to catch any rowers, I got so focused on everything else happening that I temporarily forgot about them.
