Rome’s Favorite Fountains
Today I ventured to a place you surely know, even if you’ve never been to Rome. The Villa Borghese Gardens.
With good reason this is one of Rome’s most frequented and loved parks. In the summer it is a way to stay cool and be transported from the city noise.
There are so many things to do and see in this park including the villa’s art gallery, 2 cinemas, you can rent bikes, roller blades, eat ice cream, have a great meal under the trees and even paddle a boat on the little lake.

There are also several fountains, but this is my favorite. It is located in a small clearing and glows when seen through the deep shade of the path.
This fountain is a play on words of “sea-horse” and is held by 4 horses with fish tails and wings. It is truly spectacular.
