Day 56: Windswept In Holland
This smaller painting was my last one from my 3 days spent in Holland. I wanted to keep going and to keep capturing these skies. But 3 days was all I had.Afternoon Wind, Katwijk6×8″Oil on Panel© Kelly Medford, 2012This was my farewell to the stunning seaside of southern Holland. I can only hope to return next spring to paint and learn from it again. For me this painting captured the mood and the moment of the wind, sand, sea and sky. I loved every minute of it.You can see this or other paintings from the 120 Day Project available here on my website.
