On the Road to Home
The Reading Chair oil on linen 24×20″Tomorrow I’m leaving for Orlando and heading to Chattanooga for a big show of Western paintings where I have the opportunity to show some of my paintings from Alaska. From there I will be going to another show at Antioch College and then headed back to Italy. This painting was done in my mom’s living room- it’s an intimate place where we all hang out in the evenings and seemed like the thing to post upon leaving. I’ve had some great adventures and met so many wonderful and generous people these past months in the u.s. I’m not sad to leave, but instead am excited and looking forward to what a new city full of life and opportunity will bring.

October 29, 2010 at 9:06 amAwesome, thanks for stopping by to check out the show- I thought that it was tastefully hung as well. I just loved Asha, Jules and Karsten’s work and was honored to be in the show. And had such a great time to top it all off. I just got to Rome and will hopefully be posting some new paintings in the next week, so stay tuned! Thanks again!

October 29, 2010 at 2:10 pmI agree about how it was hung, and I thought the quality of the work made it a superb show.
Look forward to popping back and seeing your new work.
