Day 76: Old Shed, Caldine

Day 76: Old Shed, Caldine

Today was truly the most gorgeous day! I got lucky and had painting company today of 2 painters visiting from Charleston. We caught the bus up here, had a picnic and then they went to work. I wasn’t really as diligent as they were though. I wanted to lay about in the sun and just really do nothing, when did I get so lazy?! The most beautiful painting day and all of a sudden I could care less about painting. All this Italian sun is making me lazy and decadant..As you can see though I did paint today. I found this neat little shed in the middle of an entire hillside of olive trees. The other exciting thing is that we had a visit from a deer which I have never seen when painting up here. It seemed like a good sign. What it means I don’t know, but something positive.I’m getting spoiled with all of this beautiful weather. Hopefully it won’t take the returning of the rain to snap me back into action..To buy today’s painting, click here. To view all other paintings from the project, click here.
