Day3: Grapfruit Tree at the Greenhouse
This tree supposedly has the most heavenly grapefruits, although I wouldn’t know first hand as the employees at the greenhouse devoured them long ago! I just love seeing this tree in the afternoon light in contrast to the greenhouse, there’s something beautifully striking about the scene.Today I wanted to paint here after working all day. I thought a lot about work and working hard, maybe harder than we sometimes have the idea that we should. Today I really felt satisfied after working all day, even if I was physcially a little tired, but somehow I felt more on my purpose and then I really enjoyed the short time that I had to paint afterward. When I have a lot to do I somehow feel more productive and get more done than when I have all the time in the world free to manage myself. I know it’s only the 3rd day, but so far this project is inspiring me and today it gave me insight into how much can really get done in a day and with satisfaction.See you tomorrow!
