"Winter Silo" was also painted in April of 2012 on Long Island and technically it was already spring. You would never know it though with the artic wind blowing us around that day.
This is an impressive county farm and a wonderful place to paint. We read in the news a few days after having painted here that the cows escaped and had stopped traffic by walking down the Long Island Expressway- my kind of cows.
